Jeannette Pena (32 and an RN) and Shane Swartwout met online. Their first date was at a restaurant, and they went on their second date the very next day. Shane proposed on New Year's Eve at a cabin in Flagstaff surrounded by Jeannette's family. The couple had their wedding at Foxboro Ranch Estates in Munds Park, Arizona. "We wanted a location that fit our love for nature," says Jeannette. Their color palette was orange, green and white. "I would describe our wedding style as a little rustic, a little vintage and chic," says Jeannette. The theme was "rustic travel," which incorporated the famous story by Dr. Seuss entitled "Oh, The Places You'll Go!" The invitations were vintage telegrams and the decor was whimsical and handcrafted by the bride and groom. They made world globes to use as centerpieces, and rather than traditional table numbers, they named each table with a city they have traveled to. The couple made wood name cards for their desserts, menu cards, a remembrance shutter for their loved ones that have passed, flower vases, banners and a ring box. They utilized old vintage suitcases from their grandparents as card holders and decor. "I think the wedding and all the small details reflected our personalities and love for travel," says Jeannette.

The color scheme of orange, green and white was displayed beautifully in floral arrangements of lilies, flame calla lilies, succulents and ranunculuses.
"The log cabin is magnificent and the grounds it sits on are just breathtaking," says Jeannette. The ceremony took place outside under the cover bridge, the cocktail hour was held on the deck of the log cabin and the reception was indoors.
Jeannette and Shane were married under the covered bridge at Foxboro Ranch Estates in Munds Park, Arizona surrounded by the beauty of nature.
Whimsical Green and Orange Couple's Footwear
The theme of Jeannette and Shane's wedding was travel, so the bride's wedding gift to her groom was two cuff links: one for the location he proposed, and the other for the location where they were married.
The couple used world globes as centerpieces and named each table after a city they have traveled to in order to emphasize the travel theme.
Jeannette wanted a touch of vintage in her wedding dress, so she wore a white open back gown with a deep v-neck and extensive bead work. The groom wore a khaki suit with an orange tie.
