A Rustic Wedding at Foxboro Ranch Estates in Munds Park, Arizona

Jeannette Pena (32 and an RN) and Shane Swartwout met online. Their first date was at a restaurant, and they went on their second date the very next day. Shane proposed on New Year's Eve at a cabin in Flagstaff surrounded by Jeannette's family. The couple had their wedding at Foxboro Ranch Estates in Munds Park, Arizona. "We wanted a location that fit our love for nature," says Jeannette. Their color palette was orange, green and white. "I would describe our wedding style as a little rustic, a little vintage and chic," says Jeannette. The theme was "rustic travel," which incorporated the famous story by Dr. Seuss entitled "Oh, The Places You'll Go!" The invitations were vintage telegrams and the decor was whimsical and handcrafted by the bride and groom. They made world globes to use as centerpieces, and rather than traditional table numbers, they named each table with a city they have traveled to. The couple made wood name cards for their desserts, menu cards, a remembrance shutter for their loved ones that have passed, flower vases, banners and a ring box. They utilized old vintage suitcases from their grandparents as card holders and decor. "I think the wedding and all the small details reflected our personalities and love for travel," says Jeannette.
