A Rustic Wedding at the Millstone at Adam's Pond in Columbia, South Carolina

Inspired by the natural greenery of the Millstone at Adam's Pond in Columbia, South Carolina, Stephanie Wilkerson (26 and an autism behavior consultant) and David Turner (28 and a maintenance technician) had a rustic wedding. The venue's aura contributed to their theme, with a moss-covered path through the woods to get to the ceremony space and an exposed-brick and distressed-wood ballroom for the reception. Stephanie and David enlisted the help of wedding planner Overflow Events to ensure they got hitched without a hitch. "Nothing was ever stressful about planning our big day," Stephanie says. "And that was all thanks to our wonderful event coordinator. She was worth every penny." Everything, from the wooden candleholders to the white lanterns and framed chalkboards, came together flawlessly to bring Stephanie and David's vision to life. One of our favorite parts was the wine the couple made for their reception. Black cherry pinot noir, pineapple pear pinot grigio and exotic-fruit white zinfandel entertained guests' taste buds, and every family got to go home with their own bottle.
