A Rustic Winter Wedding at Blackhawk on the River in McCall, Idaho
Brittany Tilden (25 and works in orthotics and prosthetics) and Eric Tilden (28 and a helitack firefighter) wanted every detail at their wedding to reflect them, their lifestyle and the things they love. Their love of hunting took center stage through the deer and elk antlers, as well as pheasant feathers, in everything from the centerpieces to the bouquets and boutonnieres. They were also sure to incorporate ultra-local details such as Idaho and Washington beer and wines, as well as homemade favors. The couple picked six gallons of Idaho huckleberries the summer before the wedding to turn into sauce for their guests to take home, and Brittany’s mom picked Oregon apples to make into apple butter for a second favor. To ensure all the details flawlessly came together, Brittany and Eric hired wedding planner Sherry Scheline from IDoWed McCall, and worked with Wishing Well Botanicals to add plenty of romance to the otherwise-winter wedding. There are so many details to love—see them all, beautifully captured by Cimbalik Photography, below.
