A Rustic Winter Wedding at the Crown Room in Rogers, Minnesota

Everything—from the American flag cowboy boots to the barbed wire heart centerpieces—screamed country for Cassie Reis (27 and a contracts specialist) and Jon Reis's (33 and a supply-chain manager) winter wedding. "We bought a house on nine acres in a small town and decided to embrace the country theme," Cassie says. And they totally nailed it! The barbed wire made an appearance in the centerpieces, decorated the wedding cake and was a design motif on the invitations, which set the tone for the day. Although Cassie and Jon really wanted to get married outside, the Minnesota winter made that impossible. St. Patrick's Catholic Church was perfect since it's the church they belong to; it was a bonus that the oversize windows behind the altar brought the outside in. After their religious ceremony, guests headed to the Crown Room in Rogers, Minnesota, for the reception. "The Crown Room has most services available in-house, which makes coordination very easy," Cassie says. "The location is close to major highways, the room itself is beautiful, and working with the Crown Room is enjoyable."
