A Shabby-Chic Country Wedding at Ellis Ranch Event Center & Wedding Park in Loveland, Colorado

California-based Shana Barrios (24 and a production assistant and camera operator) and Bo Yurko (24 and a national sales manager) knew they wanted to get married in their native Colorado. When they found Ellis Ranch Event Center & Wedding Park in Loveland, Colorado, they knew it was the perfect place to begin their next chapter together. Inspired by the shabby-chic site—such as its refurbished horse barn ballroom—they went with a rustic country theme throughout their details. The wedding party even wore brown cowboy boots to match the vibe. We love that Shana and Bo wanted to add their personality into their day with DIY details, including everything from the gift tag escort cards to the mason jar, raffia and string-light centerpieces. The best ultra-personal detail, though, was the upbeat first dance. “For our first dance, we two-stepped to Eric Church’s ‘You Make It Look So Easy,’ and then we broke out into a fast-paced country swing dance to Michael Buble’s ‘How Sweet It Is,’ " Shana says. "I absolutely love dancing with my husband.” Another standout detail? Shana had two stunning dresses. She wore a ball gown from David’s Bridal for the ceremony and changed into a cocktail-length dress for the reception. Both had intricate bedding on the bodice for a little added glamour. There are so many details we love—see them all, beautifully captured by Katie Brewer from KB Digital Designs, below.
