A Simple, Chic Wedding at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, West Virginia

Kimberly Neverly (32 and a recruiting director) and Gregg McGrath (30 and a strategic alliances manager) brought New York chic to West Virginia for their wedding at Oglebay Resort. "I wanted things to be simple and chic, so I didn't want to use any color," Kim says about her wedding style. As a result, the wedding party's look was traditional in black and white. Gregg and his groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos, while the bridesmaids wore knee-length black dresses. Kim wore a mermaid-style Tara Keely for Lazaro wedding dress, which she paired with an embellished belt and a chapel veil for the ceremony. Their reception was similarly simple and elegant. The focal point of the ballroom was an ivory canopy that was draped from the ceiling with a crystal chandelier at its center. To accent its drama, Kim and Gregg used pink up-lighting to illuminate the room. Centerpieces consisted of arrangements of white roses, white hydrangeas and branches with dangling crystals that echoed the chandelier. The newlyweds ended their night with dancing and a white wedding cake with separated tiers that was decorated with sparkly ribbon and large cake flowers.
