A Simple, Classic Wedding at Newton White Mansion in Mitchellville, Maryland

Lindsay Felter (24 and an import/export specialist) and Zach Rattner (23 and a computer engineer) met in sixth grade during a church conference, but they lost touch. They were reacquainted in their junior year of college and began dating not long afterwards. Zach proposed to Lindsay on their three year anniversary on the beach at Coronado Island near their home in San Diego. They chose to get married near their hometown at the Newton White Mansion in Mitchellville, Maryland. "Zach and I both loved the historical aspects of the property, and the modern atrium made it great for accommodating our large guest list," says Lindsay. The fall wedding's color palette included navy, grape green and ivory. Lindsay wore a satin A-line wedding dress from Lex Bridal Designs, with which she carried a bouquet of white lilies and hypercium. Her bridesmaids dressed in classic navy blue dresses from David's Bridal and carried bouquets of blue orchids, white roses and viburnum. Zach looked handsome in a black suit with a green tie. At the atrium reception, guests enjoyed a photo booth, great food with a Mediterranean twist, and a scrumptious wedding cake. Lindsay and Zach's classic wedding was simply romantic.
