Alisha Tinker (22 and a pharmacy technician) and Cody Smith (24 and an EMT) had a simple Southern wedding full of sunflowers and cowboy boots. The Gwinnett Historic Courthouse in Lawrenceville, Georgia, was the perfect place for their celebration. “We loved that it had a gazebo outside for the ceremony, but also a simple ballroom upstairs for the reception,” Alisha says. “With the building a part of the Historical Society, it had its own vintage, rustic charm that we loved.” Alisha wore a strapless A-line ivory lace dress with a gold sash, which of course she paired with cowboy boots. Cody wore a black suit with a cowboy hat to match the laid-back vibe. Navy, yellow and gold decor with burlap and lace details channeled the country angle. There was even barbecue for dinner. And for dessert, Alisha and Cody had a classic wedding cake, wrapped in burlap with a touch of sunflowers. See the details below, captured by MNA Photography.
