A Simple, Elegant Wedding at Canaan Valley Resort State Park in Davis, West Virginia

Andrea Vanin (32 and a marketing and public relations designer) and Richard Ingram (31 and a planner) wanted their wedding to reflect their style of relaxed elegance. "Our goal was to have a weekend where we could celebrate and enjoy time with our friends and family," Andrea says. The couple chose a palette of royal blue, plum and charcoal to bring out the simple elegance of their wedding theme. Andrea wore a trumpet-style gown with a basket weave bodice and a ruffled skirt. The bridesmaids wore charcoal Vera Wang strapless crinkle chiffon dresses, while the groomsmen wore charcoal Vera Wang suits with charcoal vests and plum ties and pocket squares. Andrea and Richard exchanged vows outdoors, overlooking the mountains at Canaan Valley Resort State Park in Davis, West Virginia. The reception was held on-site in the main lodge, where tables were decorated with white hydrangeas, blue delphiniums, plum mini calla lilies and blue-stem dyed orchids. —Rhea Dowhower
