A Simple, Fall-Inspired Wedding at Heart of St. Charles in St. Charles, Missouri
Leslie Wray (23 and a high school teacher) and Adam Robertson (23 and a field engineer) met during high school, but didn't get to know each other until they both found themselves at the University of Central Missouri. After on-and-off dating and periods of long distance, Adam proposed. The couple was married in Old Monroe, MO in a traditional ceremony at the Immaculate Conception Church, followed by a reception at the Heart of St. Charles. The venue offered a spacious, light-filled room that easily accommodated all 350 of their guests. Leslie and Adam planned a rustic, affair with a subtle fall-insired color palette of brown, green and burgundy. Large lanterns topped the reception tables as well as the ceremony aisles, the candlelight adding a warm, inviting note to each of the tables. For a splash of color, alternating tables were decorated with bright orange, red and ivory blooms.
