A Simple, Neutral-Colored Wedding at Les Bourgeois Vineyards Blufftop Bistro in Rocheport, Missouri

Erin and Brian (metal art studio owners) met while living in Brooklyn, New York. Although they live in the city now, they decided to get married in Erin’s hometown in Missouri while they were visiting for the winter holidays. They chose Les Bourgeois Vineyards Blufftop Bistro because they loved the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Missouri River bluffs and the rustic, natural exposed wood for their simple wedding. The couple timed their ceremony perfectly so that they would share their first kiss during sunset for a gorgeous orange and yellow backdrop. Instead of traditionally signing something for the newlyweds, guests took polaroid pictures for a vintage twist throughout the reception. The couple used shades of green and white for their neutral-toned color palette and planned all the details themselves. Erin’s sister helped plan the wedding, a friend of the bride create all of the floral arrangements including the rustic terrarium centerpieces and Erin and Brian even made the wedding rings themselves. Since they own their own metal art studio, it only made sense for them to not only design, but also make, each other’s rings. At the end of the night, the couple enjoyed a three-tier buttercream cake topped with a silver bird's nest by Annie's Cakes and Pastries. The couple wanted their wedding to really reflect their natural, laid-back personalities while sharing their day with their closest friends and family.
