A Simple Summer Wedding at Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin, Texas

The wedding of Taylor Nyberg (26 and in sales) and Tim Taliaferro (31 and an editor) felt like a simple summer party for this fun-loving couple. The celebration took place at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin, Texas, an urban venue full of local flair. “The interior is so beautiful and majestic," Taylor says. "And of course, it’s just perfect for a wedding reception because it’s indoors and highly air-conditioned!” The bride’s wedding dress with a fitted bodice, cap sleeves and a long, flowy skirt captured the essence of her bubbly and fun personality as well as the light, summery feel of the wedding. The pair kept everything in a neutral color palette, including the flowers by Bouquets of Austin, which included white, ivory and soft pink hues. At the reception, friends and family of the bride and groom -- as well as the happy couple -- grooved to band In10City: “Tim and I danced all night and loved every moment of dancing with the guests!” says Taylor. The wedding was extra special for one reason the couple didn’t plan for: “My brother surprised everyone by traveling for 48 hours straight to get back from his deployment with just a backpack and the clothes on his back. While he didn’t have a tuxedo, Men’s Wearhouse did the most amazing job getting him into a suit in less than 24 hours!” the bride says. “We were so blown away that he could make it for our wedding.” See the romantic details captured by Ryan Green Photography below.
