A Simple, Vintage Style Wedding at Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia

Logan Dill (24 and a testing coordinator) met Chris Zeigler (30 and a network engineer) at Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia. Logan was a student spending her summer working at the financial aid office and Chris was friends with her boss. He began to visit the office more and more often, bearing treats for Logan and eventually asked her out. Their first date was to a Greek festival, and all of their ensuing dates were equally exciting and adventurous. Logan was expecting Chris to propose to her in a vest since she always told him how handsome he looked in vests. One week, Chris wore a vest everyday, just to throw her off. He finally proposed to her during a picnic on campus. Since Mary Baldwin College was where the couple met, fell in love and got engaged, they decided it was the perfect place to get married. Their simple, casual wedding took on a vintage style. Logan and Chris chose a color palette of pink, green and white. Both their ceremony and reception were held outdoors, and floral arrangements of seasonal pink and white peonies, roses and dusty miller in antique silver tea kettles complemented the verdant spring greenery. Logan wore a stunning, tea length wedding dress by Justin Alexander which featured lace details cascading down the bodice and a coffee colored cummerbund. The coffee colored wedding cake matched her, with lace details in fondant. Chris looked sharp in a gray suit with a gray dress shirt and gray and blue patterned tie. The loving couple danced to bluegrass tunes by their favorite local band and enjoyed the company of their guests in the place that brought them together.
