A Simple Wedding at Private Residence in Merritt Island, Florida
Rather than wishing for snow, Jessica Pastermack (24) and Kip Pastermack (35) put a fun twist on their December wedding day with all-white decor, cheery red accents and natural elements. “I always dreamed of having a Christmas wedding,” says Jessica. Corner House photography captured every moment as Kip and his groomsmen started the day by riding into the ceremony at his mother's waterfront home on a boat! Dressed in white shirts and red ties, the men took their places near a wedding arch covered in greenery and red poinsettias as the couple's flower girls spread baby's breath down the aisle. Each bunch resembled snow. Jessica followed with an overflowing bouquet of pine cones, red hypericum berries, baby's breath and greenery. Kip personally complemented her and their theme with a pine cone and baby's breath boutonniere on his all-white suit. After the couple exchanged vows, they ended the night with a simple reception. White linens, candlelight and pine cones centerpieces accented each round table as their guests enjoyed a clear view of the waterfront. Inside, Christmas trees decorated with ornaments, red ribbon and string lighting created a whimsical backdrop. Another standout detail was Jessica and Kip's white wedding cake. Small stars covered the two-tier confection as bride and groom statuettes by Precious Moments served as the topper. For future couples, Jessica lends a tip: “Planning an event this big is stressful no matter what. Take it day by day and don't sweat the small stuff.”
