A Spring Country Club Wedding at Willowbend Country Club in Mashpee, Massachusetts

Nicole Lamoureux (29 and works in marketing) and Dan DeRoma (30 and a construction project manager) met as freshmen in college, becoming friends until their sophomore year when they quickly began dating. Nearly ten years later, on March 30, 2014, Dan proposed to Nicole under the illuminated arches of Christopher Columbus Park in Boston, Massachusetts. He then took her to the restaurant where they had their first date, truly making it a night to remember. Nicole and Dan chose to get married on Cape Cod at the Willowbend Country Club in Mashpee, Massachusetts. With gorgeous grounds overlooking the perfectly manicured golf course and cranberry bog, the couple knew the venue was perfect for their soft country club soiree. With neutral tones throughout with pops of pale pink, Nicole used pink peonies and roses with white hydrangeas in the bouquets and centerpieces. For a special touch at the reception, Nicole and Dan showcased family wedding photos on a small table in the hallway leading to the ballroom. The cocktail hour was held outside on the stone terrace during sunset with several hor d'oeuvres served to the guests ranging from beef and chicken skewers to clam chowder and baby lamp chops. The newlywed's wedding cake was simple but elegant with just three-tiers highlighted with a few pink peonies. For dinner, guests had a selection of filet mignon or halibut. Throughout the rest of the evening, their guests enjoyed music by the DJ who kept the dance floor full of energy all night. "Our main concern on our wedding day was for it to be a day that all of our guests would remember from the food to the music," says Nicole.
