Hong Kong residents Ethel Ng (30 and a manager with a private equity fund) and Jonathan Law (30 and a manager at a real estate private equity fund) chose Las Vegas, Nevada, for their chic, vibrant destination wedding. “We love traveling, and Vegas was one of our most memorable holidays,” Ethel says. “We love Sin City for its 24/7 bustling vibe, its beautiful sunny weather and the variety of amazing restaurants.” The couple invited 60 guests to their outdoor ceremony at Hyde at the Bellagio. “The Hyde was the perfect location for our ceremony because it's modern and screams Vegas,” says Ethel, who traded vows with Jonathan with the Bellagio's famous water fountain and the Las Vegas skyline as a backdrop. After the ceremony, the newlyweds hosted a pink-and-gold-hued reception at the Four Seasons's outdoor terrace. Pink chocolate-covered strawberries were served as special (travel-friendly) favors. "We are from Hong Kong, so we wanted to keep our bags light. Whats better than something sweet?" says Ethel, who advises that couples “take it easy” during the each phase of the process. “Planning a wedding is an incredibly stressful task, and a destination wedding is even harder to plan. Just make sure you have fun and don't forget it’s about the two of you at the end of the day.” —Carolyn Meers

"We wanted a blush and gold style, so the linens were in soft blush color: The centerpieces had flowers that were ivory, white and blush—same as my bridal bouquet," Ethel says. "We also had gold table numbers, gold garden chairs and gold candles."
