A Summer Wedding at Martha Washington Inn in Bristol, Virginia
Molly Barbeau (23 and an instructional aide) and Andrew Barbeau (24 and a kinesiologist) wanted to honor Molly's Southern heritage and Andrew's Canadian nationality at their wedding. To do so, they had a Southern-style fried chicken dinner at their Martha Washington Inn reception and gave bottles of Canadian maple syrup as wedding favors. To incorporate American and Canadian music selections, they asked their guests to include songs they wanted to hear at the reception on the RSVP cards. The flower arrangements had a Southern twist, with centerpieces of baby's breath in mason jars and bouquets of ivory roses and baby's breath. Molly also wore a country-chic Oleg Cassini dress with lace details. Her bridesmaids wore teal knee-length dresses and accessorized with pearl necklaces. For the summer event, Andrew and his groomsmen wore khaki three-piece suits with teal bow ties that matched the bridesmaid dresses. It was important to Molly and Andrew that their wedding be as family-oriented as possible. For that reason, they were married at the Fellowship Chapel in Bristol, Virginia, where Molly's parents were married years earlier. Two Sparks Wedding Photography captured all the day.
