A Timeless Mansion Wedding at Gale Mansion in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Jessica Mahr (37 and a teacher) and Matthew Padget (32 and an engineer) were introduced to each other by Matthew's brother, Ryan, after running into each other at a Minnesota Twin's baseball game. After messaging back and forth on Facebook, a friendship began to form between Jessica and Matthew. Matthew and his brother Ryan attended a Minnesota Swarm's game that Jessica was dancing at, and Matthew invited himself over to Jessica's to watch one of their favorite movies Tango and Cash. Five years later on June 18, 2013, Matt proposed to Jessica on a trip to Colorado to visit a few of the National Parks after sunrise in front of the Grand Teton Mountains. Wanting to keep their ceremony and reception intimate, they chose to tie the knot at the Gale Mansion which provided a vintage and romantic atmosphere. As a significant member of their relationship, Matthew's brother became ordained and officiated the ceremony. Jessica's strapless and beaded wedding gown fit perfectly into the timeless decor of the wedding. The color scheme consisted of classic white with pale pink and gray accents throughout seen in the floral bouquets and bridesmaid dresses. To begin the reception, Matt and Jessica choreographed their first dance. However, the big surprise for Matthew was a dance by Jessica, bridesmaids and friends to Beyonce's, 'Till the End of Time'. Instead of extra activities the night of the wedding they focused on spending time talking with guests and dancing the night away. "The two days following the wedding, we had events guests could attend including a trip to Canterbury Park for horse racing and dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory," says Jessica.
