Lindsay Bowles (26 and a Ph.D student) and Jacob Chervinsky (26 and a lawyer) met while studying at George Washington University. Their traditional wedding at the Carnegie Institute of Washington was timeless and breathtaking. With a simple color palette of silver, white and black, Lindsay and Jacob converted the institute's marble rotunda into their beautiful ceremony venue. The hall's tall pillars were echoed in displays of white hydrangeas at the altar, and white chiavari chairs were decorated with bundles of roses tied with ribbon. The following reception took place in the institute's ballroom, where round dining tables were arranged with textured, white tablecloths and silver dinnerware. Bouquets of white roses and hydrangeas filled mercury glass pedestal vases at the center of each table, and every seat had a traditional, silver calligraphed menu with delicacies from Design Cuisine. For dessert, Lindsay and Jake served their guests a simple and stunning white wedding cake provided by Fluffy Thoughts Bakery, which was flavored coconut and chocolate. Timeless fashions at this gorgeous wedding included the bridesmaids in different styles of floor length, black dresses, Jake and the groomsmen in satin lapel black tuxedos and Lindsay's effortlessly chic raw silk wedding dress by Justin Alexander. Lindsay and Jake's traditional wedding was truly a memorable occasion.

Lindsay carried a simple bouquet of white peonies and some roses. Peonies were not in season during the time of her winter wedding, so her florist imported them from New Zealand.
