Neil (28 and a lawyer) was watching a Wildcats game at a local bar when his friend Mary walked in with two of her friends, and he could not take his eyes off Katrina (28 and an account manager at Yelp). He pursued her for a year before she gave him the time of day. "I exhausted all forms of communication--dates, phone calls, texts, Words with Friends chatting, and smoke signals," he jokes. Katrina wasn't interesting in dating someone who lived two hours away, but eventually gave in and called him on his birthday. Neil made time for her in Scottsdale during a golf trip he was already planning, so they had their first date over dinner and drinks. About a year later, Neil surprised Katrina with a trip to Sedona, where they went on a hike so Neil could propose on a gorgeous overlook of the rocks. "After getting engaged in Sedona, it seemed fitting to get married there, too," Katrina explains. They held an intimate ceremony with 115 guests at Sedona Golf Resort in Sedona, Arizona, where they could share the view of the red rocks with all of their loved ones.
