The Bride Megan Schwedhelm, 31, deputy district attorney at the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office The Groom Paul Wilkins, 31, an attorney The Date June 26 Megan and Paul both wanted a classic, traditional wedding. Kohl Mansion fit the bill not only for its grandeur, but also for its special meaning: Megan’s mom had her senior prom in the same ballroom.

Megan and Paul’s initials appeared among the delicate silver piping, while magenta ribbon and flowers finished the look.
Silver urns filled with a mix of magenta flowers (like hydrangeas, roses and orchids) topped the tables.
Megan and Paul’s moss-covered initials hung from the church doors.
Wanting all of the paper elements to be consistent, Megan and Paul made the programs match their invitations exactly.
Megan’s parents were married at this church, so it meant a lot for her to get married there.
Rounds were set up with two different tablescapes—one flower-focused and one candle-focused—to save money on centerpieces.
