A Traditional, Multicultural Wedding at Infinity Park in Glendale, Colorado

Hue Cao (30 and a pharmacist) and Phuc Vo (30 and a physician) started their relationship as pen pals, and Phuc proposed where they had their first date at the Cheescake Factory in Kansas City. The couple wanted to incorporate their cultures into their day and started with a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony at Hue’s parents’ house. The ceremony was intimate, and the two even wore traditional colorful clothing for the event. Afterward, Hue and Phuc enjoyed a roasted pig for dinner. However, the festivities were only just beginning, as the pair changed into more Western-inspired garb for their second ceremony at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Since Hue’s favorite color is blue, the couple chose it for their main color and accented it with bright shades of yellow, red and ivory for a colorful palette. Since they both love Broadway musicals, Hue and Phuc chose that as the theme for the reception at Infinity Park in Glendale, Colorado, with ticket escort cards and playbill table numbers. At the end of the night, the newlyweds shared their first dance to "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri.
