A Traditional Wedding at the Frenchman's Reserve Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida
Danielle Sabatello (24 and a makeup artist) and Peter (Pete) Coryn (30 and a sales account manager) met at a bar and became engaged at their home in Tampa, Florida. Pete and his son, Nick, sent Danielle on a scavenger hunt around the house before Pete asked “Will you marry us?” “Our babysitter took pictures of the whole thing and I gladly accepted! The proposal was so personal and more meaningful than any romantic scenery or background could have been,” says Danielle. The couple spent their next nine months planning a Palm Beach, Florida wedding. Rather than choosing a color scheme, the couple focused on creating a traditional affair. Danielle’s childhood church, St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, was chosen as their ceremony space. Stained glass windows surrounded them as Danielle and Pete said “I do.” Simple yellow and red flower petals lined the aisle as the couple took their recessional. “The cocktail hour and reception was one big party!” says Danielle. Appetizers and a live band entertained their 120 guests before all were served a surf and turf-style dinner. The couple’s friends and family members spent the night taking pictures in a photo booth, drinking shots from an ice luge and dancing to the live band, City Lights. Each guest was given a bottle of olive oil and a damask picture frame before they left to give Danielle and Pete a sparkler exit. “Our family and friends are a big part of our lives and we wanted them to know how much we appreciated them being there for us as we started our married life together,” says Danielle.
