A Traditional Wedding at the Tampa Club in Tampa, Florida

Allison Baska (25 and a speech language pathologist) and Jonathan Pavlinec (25 and a physician) quickly started dating after meeting at a mutual friend’s birthday dinner. “We sat across from each other and it truly was love at first sight,” says Allison. After years of going on trips together, the couple became engaged. After a year of planning, they had a traditional wedding at the Tampa Club in Tampa, Florida. The space was decorated in champagne, pink and charcoal gray hues. “We had a winter wedding and wanted out color palette to reflect that, but also still be light and elegant,” says Allison. They were wed nearby friends and family at the same church where Allison’s grandparents said “I Do,” Palma Ceia United Methodist Church. “It was a wonderful location for our guests who were close so they didn't have to travel and for our guests who did, there are so many fun things to do in Tampa” says Allison. Her and Jonathan accented the ceremony with lush arrangements of white hydrangeas and blush accents along the altar. Their reception was held at the Tampa Club in the same town. Keeping the couple’s color scheme in mind, the space was decorated with classic ivory linens, gold chargers and low floral arrangements at different heights. White hydrangea, blush roses and pink roses were placed in tea light candle sticks as each round table’s centerpiece. “The best part about the day was celebrating our happiness with the people in our lives that we love the most,” says Allison. “We made our guests feel special by doing our best to make it a fun, elegant occasion that they could celebrate, dance and share our love with us.”
