Marriage is far from the first adventure for globetrotters Felicia Hindmarsh (28 and a manager of delivery operations) and Thomas Nuth (27 and a senior marketing manager), although it might be their most exciting yet. After getting engaged (Thomas proposed while Felicia descended from paragliding!) they spent three years in Stuttgart, Germany and spent much of their time traveling to over 13 different countries. “We wanted a venue that depicted our time visiting castle ruins throughout Europe," Felicia says. "The Amy Strong Castle at Mount woodson was incredibly breathtaking and a perfect place to hold our magical event. Each table was decorated with little gems and treasures we had picked up while abroad. We loved spending the weekends visiting neighboring flea markets and used all of our amazing finds as centerpieces so no two tables were alike.” Felicia stuck with a simple, elegant look in her white strapless mermaid gown fit for a modern-day princess, while real souvenirs from their many travels offered a quirky vintage vibe and truly personal touch. “We wanted to make sure that our wedding theme celebrated these experiences and also share them with our friends and family who didn’t have the chance to visit us while were were there,” she says. For the ceremony, Felicia and Thomas wrote their own words, which the Pastor recited, and they chose to have a traditional handfasting ceremony to symbolize their their union and lifelong commitment to one another.
