A color palette of blush, burgundy and just a touch of mint green added romance (without being over the top) to Emily and Patrick's Valentine's Day wedding.

Instead of a topper, the baker placed a gold arrow through two of the wedding cake tiers -- a subtle nod to the Valentine's Day wedding date.
Romantic roses, brunia berries and eucalyptus leaves were combined to create the pastel bridesmaid bouquets.
The Valentine's Day themed candy bar was filled with treats like conversation hearts, Swedish fish, cherry sours, red hots and chocolate hearts.
Emily and her attendants accessorized their gowns with ivory wraps to ward off the winter chill. The groom and groomsmen kept it classic in traditional black tuxedos.
Large proteas, roses and eucalyptus decorated a table at the entrance to the reception.
The tables were topped in mint green, matte satin tablecloths and set with gold chargers for a bit of glamour. Each centerpiece was different but all contained peonies, roses, protea, dusty miller, eucalyptus and brunia berries.
Lace doilies and personalized thank-you cards sat atop gold chargers on the guest tables.
The custom ivory, black and gold invitation suite was chosen for its classic, timeless design.
The best advice I can give is to remember what the wedding is really about, says Emily. As much as I obsessed and went overboard on the decorations, flowers, dresses and all of those material details, the only thing I remember about that day was how happy I was with my new husband.
The three flower girls wore matching ivory fur coats and carried wreaths made of fresh eucalyptus, garden roses and silver spray roses.
Emily's mother hand-stitched the flower girl dresses, designing each to look like the bride's ivory tulle ball gown.
The bridesmaids wore convertible, burgundy chiffon dresses. I picked this particular dress because it was a flattering choice for every figure, age and style, says Emily.
I wanted my bouquet to be very unconstructed and textured with draping pieces, says Emily. Her gathering of peonies, anemones, garden roses and ranunculus was a soft blush color with bold pops of burgundy to match the bridesmaid dresses.
Emily carried a lush gathering of pink peonies and garden roses combined with burgundy ranunculus and berries.
