A Vibrant Indian Wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village, California

rn Bikeramjit (Biki) Gill (31 and a law student) and Jasmeet (Jesse) Dhillon (30 and a law student) created a garden-inspired, traditional Sikh daytime ceremony at the Richard Nixon Library and Museum in Yorba Linda, California, followed by two receptions: a pastel-hued lunchtime gathering on the ceremony site and a glamorous red-, black- and gold-toned nighttime fete at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village. The first reception adhered to a fresh peach and pink garden theme and took place immediately after the ceremony; Biki and Jesse’s 500 guests were served lunch under a canopy of colorful flower garlands and umbrellas. Later that evening family and friends celebrated again with a luxurious, romantic candlelit reception at the Four Seasons. Tables were topped with luxurious textured silk and long rows of votive candles. Jesse swapped his ensemble for a navy tuxedo while Biki changed into a lighter-weight gown and minimal accessories for the evening. “For the reception, I went with something more contemporary and easy to party in,” says Biki, who danced the night away with Jesse to a mix of Indian jams and pop music. —Carolyn Meers
