A Vibrant Spring Wedding at Alley Station in Montgomery, Alabama
Jenna Arnold (22 and an elementary school teacher) and Kenton Runge (24 and a Hyundai motor manufacturer) met through mutual friends at church and dating for 11 months before getting engaged. "We were on a balcony overlooking the ocean when Kent got down on one knee," says Jenna. "It was so perfect that I couldn't stop smiling!" The pair planned a vibrant spring affair with a bright pink and orange color palette at Alley Station in Montgomery, Alabama. Jenna accessorized her timeless Maggie Sottero wedding gown with her my mother's veil and walked down the rooftop terrace aisle with colorful bouquet of bright roses and peonies. "Our ceremony was written for us by my maid-of-honor and our pastor—they're married and are our closet friends!" says Jenna. "I think the ceremony was a reflection of true love, and that showed all of our guests that God has truly placed us together," says Jenna. Guests enjoyed a ballroom reception complete with a Chik-Fil-A buffet and mashed potato bar. Jenna's sister-in-law, owner of Wooden Spoon Bakery, created the strawberry cream cheese confection with rosette cream cheese icing. "We wanted a very low-key wedding and picked each element with special care!" says Jenna.
