The Bride Jessica Campbell, 28 and an archaeologist and logistics coordinator at HRA Gray & Pape LLC The Groom Charles Bludau Jr., 31 and an archaeologist at HRA Gray & Pape LLC The Date October 24 From antique linens to an old-fashioned typewriter, “vintage country” was the theme of the day. “I thought the vintage country touches would be perfect for the farm,” she says. Jessica decided on red (her favorite color), ivory, brown, and orange as her colors.

Jessica and Charlie’s first dance to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” was “interrupted” by Charlie’s (and now Jessica’s) black husky mix, Manu, who just wanted to join in on the fun.
The bridesmaids carried a smaller version of the bride’s bouquet, with fresh roses, dahlias, gerbera daisies, and hydrangeas.
Jessica is a vegetarian, so the menu included her favorite pasta while Charlie’s uncles prepared exotic meats -- like quail and rabbit -- on two barbecue pits.
Jessica carried a bright mixture of red and peach roses, yellow dahlias, red gerbera daisies, and white hydrangeas tied with an ivory ribbon.
Jessica’s sister Jenny was her maid of honor, standing out in a brown chiffon tea-length dress. The other four bridesmaids wore red chiffon tea-length dresses.
Red gerbera daisies and peach roses decorated the signs that directed guests where to park.
“We loved our invitations because they had a large oak tree on them,” Jessica says. “To us, that was perfect for the farm.”
In keeping with the vintage theme, guests typed messages to the couple on a Remington Rand Streamliner antique typewriter.
Jessica and Charlie said “I do” beneath two 200-year-old oak trees. At the end of each row of white folding chairs were potted red and orange chrysanthemums.
