A Vintage Fall Wedding at Sweetwater Farm in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania

The theme of Dara Gans (43 and works in event planning) and John Marshall's (45 and an architect) wedding was motivated by their passion of repurposing and bringing new life to old objects that time has forgotten. Dara has the ability to find lost treasures and create new uses for them, either for the home or in her jewelry. John has converted several former warehouses and office buildings into loft-style apartments and condominiums. Grace Winery at Sweetwater Farm in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, seemed like the perfect setting for their wedding since the site itself was repurposed from a farmhouse into an inn and the barn was converted into a winery. Dara and John stuck to a basic palette of black, whites, cork, kraft paper and burlap—simple materials that had a classic style and timeless feel. —Meghan Overdeep
