A Vintage Farm Wedding at a Private Residence in Fayetteville, Arkansas
When it came time for Emily Reagan (26 and a teacher) and Dylan Cardwell’s (27 and a technical sergeant in the Arkansas Air National Guard) wedding, they knew they wanted to get married at Emily’s family’s farm in Fayetteville, Arkansas. “It has been my dream since I was a young girl to get married on the farm,” Emily says. Inspired by the look and feel of the 1870s house, Emily and Dylan decided on a vintage theme with a champagne, peach and ivory palette and stunning details including lace, vanity mirrors and old windows. One of our favorite parts was the lush florals including garden rose and ranunculus bouquets and leafy garland centerpieces gorgeously arranged by Zuzu's Petal & Gifts. Another standout detail? The 15 flower girls! “Our flower girls were also a big part of our day,” Emily says. “There wasn't any aisle decor and way too many flower girls to walk down the aisle, so before my dad and I took our walk down the aisle, my 15 flower girls—dressed in ivory dresses of their choice and flower halos that my bridesmaids help me put together—walked out two by two and lined each side of the aisle. This was one of my favorite parts of the day and brought tears to my eyes. I babysat for most of those girls and some were my little cousins. All of them were just too important to me and I couldn't leave anyone out.” See all our favorite details, beautifully captured by Kaity Whitman from Photo Love, below.
