A Vintage Garden Wedding at a Private Residence in Saugatuck, Michigan

Hollie House (25 and owner of A Pinch of Pretty) and Judd Bagladi (32 and owner of Holland Ready Roofing) wanted to hold their wedding in a place with natural beauty that they could enhance with their own sense of style and decor. Hollie and Judd found the perfect place in a private residence in Saugatuck, Michigan: a 15-acre rhododendron nursery. Inspired by the location, the couple ran with a garden theme filled with vintage decor that they sourced themselves. A palette of golds, neutrals, pinks and peaches fit the location nicely, and dahlias were used throughout the bouquets and centerpieces. The couple picked the dahlias the day before the wedding from a four-acre dahlia farm, then held a flower-arranging party with the wedding party to build the gorgeous flower arrangements. Gold gum-ball machines, gold chandeliers and a gold bike with a basket (used to collect cards) rounded out the vintage glam decor. After a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, everyone moved under the large, white tent for the reception, where they enjoyed a dinner of wood-fired pizzas, which were made on-site in a copper oven.
