A Vintage Glamour Wedding in San Antonio, TX

“Vintage page boy” was the inspiration for the two ring bearers, who wore cuffed jeans, white linen shirts, black-and-white wing tips, page boy hats, bow ties and suspenders.

The altar was decorated with 15-foot-high ivory fabric draping and two large arrangements of peonies, cherry blossoms, ranunculus and roses.
With a gray color being the only requirement, the bridesmaids were able to choose their own dresses. And, to keep the groom’s side from looking too “stuffy,” the couple asked the groomsmen to wear black suits instead of tuxedos.
The centerpieces were matte black cubes filled with tall cherry blossom branches and arrangements of hydrangeas, peonies and roses at the base.
Crystal made all of the boutonnieres from wooden flowers, spotted feathers and washi tape, which she found at a craft store.
Another DIY touch: Crystal and Nelson designed and screen-printed the invitations themselves.
Couple's Shot
Vintage chalkboard signage and old-whiskey-bottle typography inspired the design of the stationery and the reception décor.
Crystal’s bouquet of blush roses, white peonies, hydrangeas, dusty miller and white feathers was classic and soft.
For favors, members from both Crystal’s and Nelson’s families baked cookies from family recipes. Each cookie was packaged with a pretty tag that included the recipe.
