A Vintage-Inspired Fall Wedding at the Dominion House in Guthrie, Oklahoma
Everything about the wedding of Chelsea Craig (29 and a dance teacher) and Jeffrey Craig (35 and a physician) felt like the fall with lots of DIY touches to make their day extra personal. Their wedding took place at Dominion House in Guthrie, Oklahoma, which was “was absolutely the most ideal venue we could have imagined,” Chelsea says. It had a beautiful garden with a mansion backdrop, and the elegant vintage vibe was perfect for their outdoor fete. Chelsea and Jeffrey wanted to put their mark on their wedding day, so to reflect Jeffrey’s great love of pumpkins, created DIY pumpkin vases they filled with romantic blush and ivory floral arrangements by Madeline’s Flower Shop, which lined the aisle and decorated the dining tables. The ring bearer even walked down the aisle with a pumpkin. At the end of the evening, Chelsea and Jeffrey gave their guests pumpkins as wedding favors, with a handmade lantern to hold as the newlyweds made their horse-and-carriage exit. A memorable highlight? During the reception, Chelsea’s flower girls—also her dance students—performed to “Love Never Fails” by Brandon Heath.
