A Vintage-Meets-Romantic Fall Wedding at The Beverly Mansion in Marengo, Ohio
Beth has an affinity for vintage design so selecting The Beverly Mansion in Marengo, Ohio, for her and Mark's wedding was a simple decision. Built in the 1920s, the estate sits on 40 acres of land and, with its vaulted ceilings, created the perfect foundation for the couple's 80-guest wedding. Mixing up a traditional wedding timeline, Beth and Mark chose to welcome guests to their wedding with a pre-ceremony cocktail hour before tying the knot. Following the pre-vow drinks, the couple wed in front of a grand tree on the property. Even more impressive, however, were the two wood pillars flanking the aisle that the groom made himself for the occasion. "Their vows were personal and handwritten, and Beth cracked many jokes while wiping tears from Mark’s eyes - both handsome in their gown and velvet green suit jacket. Beth’s dad, who had passed years before, was even in attendance in the front row, so he could be a part of his girl’s big day. Her mother was the one to walk her down the aisle, and arm in arm, both of them in their gorgeous gowns were a sight to see," says the couple's photographer. To cap off the evening, guests enjoyed a reception dinner with a moody black-and-burgundy aesthetic.
