A Vintage Mint and Pink Wedding at the Bauer in Kansas City, Missouri

Rustic refinement with a vintage twist never looked better than it did with Jordan Burge (24 and a teacher) and Chris Landis’s (24 and a teacher) Kansas City, Missouri, nuptials. The Bauer Event Space set the tone with its pealing plaster and exposed pipes. “The Bauer was the perfect place to have our wedding,” Jordan says. “It went along with our vintage theme perfectly with the restored hardwood floors and exposed brick walls. Also the view of the Kansas City skyline was amazing.” Jordan and Chris's wedding planner, Rachel from Claver Events, helped them choose a mint and pink palette for a soft, romantic feel in the industrial space. We loved the stunning floral arrangements from Erin Volante Floral, including classic peonies and roses. The bouquets really popped against the mint bridesmaid dresses, and the towering altar decor added a garden aura. “Our flowers were more beautiful than I could have imagined,” Jordan says. Wanting to add a Kansas City twist to their wedding, they had Crimson and Blue BBQ cater smoked chicken, burnt ends and cheesy potatoes for dinner. Yum! Our absolute favorite detail? The modern, rustic invitation suite from Wedding Paper Divas. The stationery set the tone for the entire event with green florals, subtle pink roses and even a chalkboard-inspired look. There are so many details we love—see them all, beautifully captured by Rachel Moore from RPM Photography and Cinematography, below.
