A Vintage, Natural Wedding at Knowlton Mansion in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Using the Knowlton Mansion in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as inspiration, Joe McFetridge (27 and an art teacher) and Michael Assetto (27 and a retail executive) planned a natural, vintage wedding that has us craving a trip to the countryside. Quill-inspired stationery, 1950s-worthy dresses and handmade centerpieces were just a few of the details we can’t get over. Each “aged” neutral card, from the invitation suite to the table numbers, featured a chic antique-style font. The dark letters mixed with delicate curls looked as if a quill made every stroke. Their wedding party’s flared dresses only enhanced the antique style. Each green and yellow frock fit the natural scenery and evoked the '50s with a chic Queen Anne neckline. Joe and Michael’s handmade centerpieces at the highlighted their venue’s architecture and manicured grounds more. Tables included gold candelabras, natural succulents and moss atop a gold charger. "We fell in love with the aesthetics of the mansion and loved making it ours for the day,” Joe says. “It perfectly represented both our styles while helping us celebrate in a ‘New American Classic’ style.”
