Olga Valle and Ethan Clarke first met when Ethan moved next door Olga in 2011. They were engaged in Paris and to had an intimate wedding in Key West, Florida. After about a year of planning, they had a wedding that reflected them as a couple. “We felt the shabby chic theme matched our love for going on adventures from treasure hunting to admiring old architecture,” says Olga. Their ceremony was held in The Reach’s gazebo with simple decor. White sheer fabric draped along the side of their reception space as an elegant chandelier hung overhead. After the ceremony, Olga, Ethan and their guests moved inside for a reception filled with vintage accents. Each table was covered with a lace tablecloth as a line of books, tea cups, milk bottles and other canisters were placed in the center. Each was filled with pink and white flowers. Olga, Ethan and their guests enjoyed both a DJ and photo booth during the reception. The couple’s wedding also had personal touches set throughout the day. Ethan’s parents found antique skeleton keys, which the couple used as their escort cards. Olga’s father did the calligraphy for the couple’s invitations and chalkboards. The couple’s honey jar wedding favors were also crafted by Olga and her mother. “It really was the best day ever,” says Olga.

Olga and Ethan chose Key West for their wedding as they once went there for a weekend trip. “We quickly fell in love with all this little island had to offer and when it came time to decide on a location for our special day it was at the top of our list,” says Olga.
