The Bride Allie Taylor, 25, an actor The Groom Brock Johnson, 26, a financial analyst for Wells Fargo The Date May 22 “I wanted the wedding to feel part southern, part French, part vintage and very relaxed,” says the bride. The couple used lots of purple with silver and white for a serene, romantic palette and incorporated vintage pieces like antique ribbon and candle holders to complete the look.

Galvanized buckets hung from shepherd’s hooks along the aisle and were filled with monochromatic arrangements of purple flowers and stock.
The bride had fun with the colors in the bridesmaids’ dresses, choosing three lavender chiffon gowns with gray sash details and two others with the opposite color scheme.
Wooden table numbers covered in dried moss stood out against the white linens and fit right in with the garden surroundings.
The dual-purpose fan programs were perfect for guests in the warm Georgia sun. An elegant lavender and gray monogram hinted at the palette used throughout the wedding decor.
A vintage frame held a chalkboard with the handwritten menu for the reception meal for all guests to see.
Pale lavender icing almost made the cake look white against the lavender sugar roses and soft green leaves.
Purple hydrangeas and white roses spilled from glass bowls in the middle of each white linen-covered table. White napkins stood out against silver chargers at each place setting.
Mini fruit pies from the local Wal-Mart were an affordable and tasty treat for Allie and Brock’s guests. They personalized the packages with some ribbon and hand-dyed “Merci” tags.
