Lexi Stehr (26 and a sourcing analyst) and Jordan Michael (27 and a financial analyst) have different styles, but their wedding blended them both together. They combined her love of contemporary details with his affinity for classic elegance and turned it into this rustic fete filled with natural decor—a winning combination. The historic Southwest School of Art in San Antonio, Texas, won them over because of its romantic location along the San Antonio River and its historic European-style architecture with rustic rooms (including stained glass windows with industrial chandeliers) and lush courtyards and gardens. Fresh Urban Flowers highlighted Southwest School of Art's natural beauty by bringing the outside gardens into the rustic space with lots of greenery, succulents and flowers in sunset-inspired shades. Lexi and Jordan added their own touch of whimsy with custom cocktail stirrers and striped straws, custom hashtag cocktail napkins, monogrammed pillows and touches of gold on the tips of the succulents, but still kept it classic in their choice of fashions: Lexi in her mother’s vintage ball gown wedding dress, and Jordan in a tux with cowboy boots! Thanks to Wedding and Event Designs by Pamela, their week-of coordinator, their day went by without a hitch, and Bend the Light Photography was present to capture all the details, below.

Lexi and Jordan’s invitation suite had this gorgeous black-and-white calligraphy on Crane's Lettra cotton letterpress paper. They used traditional wording at a slant for a more modern look. The back of the invitation had a cool and colorful hand-drawn map, perfectly combining the invitation's elegance with a Texas touch of whimsy.
Lexi’s whole pink and white bouquet was wow-worthy, but those lush coral peonies are hard to ignore. The arrangement also had ranunculus, anemones, garden roses and pops of greenery to match the bright, sunset-inspired colors.
Lexi's engagement ring was the perfect example of her modern style mixed with Jordan's love of timelessness. She wore a cushion-cut canary diamond set in a classic diamond halo and pave diamond band.
Lexi gave Jordan two wedding gifts: a pair of custom black cowboy boots from Armando’s Boot Company with their monograms and wedding date and custom black suspenders.

Classic Neutral Wedding Party
Lexi’s bridesmaids wore short champagne Jenny Yoo convertible dresses, which blended with the earth tones of Southwest School of Art in San Antonio, Texas. Each girl picked out her own gold accessories and sandals and wore her hair in an updo.
This bright and bold bridesmaid bouquet had vibrant garden roses and ranunculus in pink, coral, blush and yellow, surrounded by leafy greens. Texas sunsets were the inspiration for these vibrant colors, which beautifully matched the neutral bridesmaid dresses.
Brown Ivory-Wrapped Chiavari Chair
Lexi and Jordan got married in the Gothic Revival-style Coates Chapel at the Southwest School of Art in San Antonio, Texas. Lexi’s parents’ antique French sideboard served as an altar.
Black-and-White Groom's Tuxedo
Lexi and Jordan had some fun with their signature cocktails, serving them in cups from their favorite college bar. Each drink came with monogrammed and sparkly swizzle sticks and a striped straw just for fun.
Gold Wax Stamp Escort Cards
The head table brought a touch of modern glam to the rustic reception space. It had a sparkly gold runner set with sunset-colored flowers, gold-tip succulents, tall silver candelabras and lower tea candles.
