A Whimsical Wedding at Foxboro Ranch in Flagstaff, Arizona
When Caitlin Hacker (26 and a teacher) moved across the country from Wisconsin to Arizona for a job, she met Sherry, the mother of her eventual husband, Eric Hunt (32 and a fire department captain and paramedic). Sherry invited Caitlin to a town festival a few weeks later where she met Eric, and they immediately hit it off. After the festival, they went out dancing with friends and Eric tried to teach Caitlin how to two-step. From that night on, the two were inseparable. Eric proposed at Christmas dinner in front of their closest friends and family. For their wedding, Caitlin wanted to get married somewhere lush and green in the middle of dry Arizona to incorporate a little piece of her home in Wisconsin. The couple immediately fell in love with the trees, meadows, and waterfront at Foxboro Ranch Estates in Flagstaff, Arizona. The ceremony took place on an open bridge with pine trees and water in the background, followed by a dinner inside the rustic venue and dancing under the stars. The color palette was gold, turquoise and pink, and included whimsical details made especially for Caitlin and Eric’s wedding such as bright flowers, a mailbox for the card drop-off, a canoe filled with Arizona and Wisconsin beers and cupcakes in chevron wrappers for guests to enjoy.
