Lauren Baxter (23 and a box office associate) and David Wheat (27 and a student) first met in high school, and quickly became close friends. When David graduated, he joined the Marine Corps, and even though he was stationed in Japan, he flew home to visit Lauren when he had leave. Shortly after David’s service ended, the pair began dating and David moved to Lauren’s college town. One day, David picked Lauren up from class with a picnic lunch and asked her to marry him. Lauren works in a live theatre and it is one of her biggest loves, so the couple chose One World Theatre as their venue. It is surrounded by beautiful Hill Country views, features a stunning covered courtyard and was exactly what the couple was looking for. One World Theatre set the tone of elegance with a breathtaking view of the Texas Hill Country. With yellow roses galore, stunning chandeliers, and all of the right personalized touches, Lauren and David warmed the hearts of many.

Lauren loves the eclectic dress trend and wanted each bridesmaid to find a dress to suit her body type and complexion, so she let each of her bridesmaids choose their own gray dress.
Lauren wore a lace mermaid style wedding dress with heart cutout cowboy boots for stylish comfort all night long.
The bride's favorite color is bright yellow, so she carried a bouquet of yellow roses and marigolds with dusty miller.
