A Woodland Garden-Inspired Wedding at Mountaintop Golf and Lake Club in Cashiers, North Carolina

Talk about bringing the outside in. Libby Page (26 and a chef and freelance food stylist) and Whit Sibley (27 and an MBA candidate at Vanderbilt University) used plenty of overgrown florals, unfinished wood, brown mushrooms and leaves throughout the decor to bring their stunningly woodland garden wedding to life. Since they had only five months to plan their rustic fete, Libby and Whit hired planner Neillie Butler from Mariee Ami. "There was absolutely no way we could have pulled it off without the team at Mariee Ami," Libby says. Although Libby never really imagined what her wedding would look like when she was a child, she knew that when she and Whit built their home in Cashiers, North Carolina, that they'd get married in their backyard overlooking Whiteside Mountain, with the natural surrounding really setting the tone for the day. One of our favorite parts was the amazing florals from Sybil at Wildflower Designs. Bold, colorful, towering flowers filled the reception to create an organic overgrown forest feel we can't help but love. See all our favorite details, beautifully captured by A Bryan Photo, below.
