A Yellow and Teal Wedding at Nikiski Senior Center in Kenai, Alaska

Wanting a simple and fun wedding to match their laid-back personalities, Kayla Eyre (21 and a mom) and Michael Eyre (22 and a mechanic) DIY'd everything from the crocheted heart centerpieces to the dinner, making for an ultra-personalized feel. Since their wedding was in the summer, Kayla and Michael knew they wanted bright colors throughout, and teal and yellow were it. "The colors were a match made in heaven," Kayla says. They also drew inspiration from the rustic log-cabin style of Nikiski Senior Center in Kenai, Alaska, and even used a wood print as the backdrop for their wedding invitations. "Nikiski Senior Center was a new building and absolutely gorgeous," Kayla says. "It had a log-home feel, very comfortable and rustic. I immediately fell in love with it."
