A few years after meeting at work, Kevin Sullivan proposed to Addie Dane at Boston's Top of the Hub restaurant. It was a complete surprise for Addie, and most definitely a pleasant one. While living in Los Angeles the couple began planning a wedding back in the bride's home state of Rhode Island. Her mother in particular (dubbed by her friends as the Martha Stewart of RI, the bride says) pitched in a tremendous amount, even hand-making more than 100 lobster bibs for the guests! We wanted our guests to really feel like they were a part of something special and unique to us, says Addie. One of the most important elements to us was really making the wedding reflective of our personal tastes. All of the attention to detail paid off when the big day finally arrived.
