An Airy Summer Wedding at Mansion Inn of Saratoga Springs in Rock City Falls, New York

Emily Buck (29 and an occupational therapist) and Benjamin Williams (30 and a project manager) were inspired to incorporate lavender into their wedding by their venue. Both the woodsy outdoors at the Mansion Inn at Saratoga Springs and the dusty purple exterior reminded the couple of fragrant wildflowers. As a result, the summer wedding was full of lavender sprigs that were included in everything from the aisle decor to the bridesmaid bouquets. To complement these purple accents, Emily and Ben chose a color palette of pale pink, mint, tan and ivory. The wedding party look encompassed their color palette, with the bridesmaids in shades of mint and light blue and the groomsmen in light blue shirts and khaki vests. Emily carried a bouquet of ivory and blush peonies and wildflowers and wore a beautiful ivory Hayley Paige wedding dress. The heartwarming ceremony, which was officiated by Ben's godmother, took place outdoors under a rustic wooden wedding arch. Glass orbs filled with peonies, wildflowers and lavender hung from the arch for whimsical effect. The reception took place under an open-air tent on the wood patio at Mansion Inn. The space was illuminated by string lights that were strung from the canopy and set up with round white dining tables covered in mint table runners. Wood boxes filled with greenery and wildflowers made up the centerpieces. After a gourmet dinner that Emily and Ben designed with Mansion Inn chef Rick Bieber, guests feasted on an array of scrumptious cupcakes and an Oreo-flavored naked cake.
