For their destination wedding, New Yorkers Josie and Kow headed to Aspen, Colorado--the scenic spot where he asked her to marry him the year before. Guests took the three-mile gondola ride to the top of snow-covered Aspen Mountain for Josie and Kow's high-altitude, high-fashion nuptials. To accentuate the majesty of their mountain setting, the couple decided on a sleek black, white and silver color palette.

Silver vases held large, lush arrangements of white roses, peonies and orchids.
Josie's niece wore a crown of white roses and sprinkled white rose petals down the aisle.
The couple wrote their own vows. Kow's sister read I Carry Your Heart by E.E. Cummings, further personalizing the ceremony.
The bridesmaids wore long-sleeve jersey gowns with silk charmeuse cascade ruffles.
Silver chargers added a glam touch to the place settings, which sat atop rustic wood tables.
Fresh flowers hung from the Aspen Club's ornate chandelier.
Josie and Kow married in front of a fireplace flanked by white branches, candles and arrangements of orchids and baby's breath.
Josie paired her emerald-cut engagement ring with a unique diamond pave chain ring by Ralph Lauren.
Alphorns played as the guests arrived for the ceremony, a subtle nod to their mountain venue.
With the sound of alphorns in the background, the pair exited their wedding on a private gondola.
The couple's classic cake was finished with buttercream frosting and a single cascade of white orchids.
Josie carried a small bouquet of her favorite flower, lily of the valley.
Candles added a romantic touch to the otherwise simple table decor.
Everyone wore self-tie bow ties, which made for an incredible circus in the dressing room, Kow recalls.
My checklist was unusual: I wanted lace, a high neck, long sleeves, and an open back, Josie says of her dream gown. Unable to find what she was looking for, she enlisted the help of a coworker to design it for her. There's nothing better than wearing a dress on your wedding day created specifically for you, she says.
Josie and Kow had their first dance to Your Song by Elton John. It's the perfect first-dance song! she says.
