The centerpieces were a wild and colorful combination of ranunculus, orchids, green apples, succulents and roses.
“Flowers, herbs, grasses and fruit mixed right alongside the amazing global cuisine made for a bountiful presentation,” Rhiannon says of their reception. “A full moon, little white lights and Moroccan lanterns set the luxurious space aglow.”
In lieu of a traditional cake, the couple opted for cupcakes instead with a small confection on top for cutting.
Rhiannon's only request was that everyone wear white so that the flowers, sunset and everyone's smiles were the focal points of the day.
White adirondack chairs sat around a fire pit for late-night s'mores.
The couple's dog, Burton, was the ring bearer and he stole the show in a necklace made of roses and greenery.
Pops of color could be found in the furniture and the flowers, which complemented (but didn't compete with) the outdoor venue.
Surrounded by guests in tan and white attire, the couple exchanged vows in a nontraditional ceremony written by the bride. We wanted our ceremony to incorporate things that motivated love in us, explains Rhiannon. The moon and the ocean, and of course, our family and friends.
The bride carried a bold bouquet of peonies, ranunculus, anemones, garden roses and lilies.
The sweet flower girls wore beachy white dresses, while the boys wore linen shirts and khaki pants.
Rhiannon carried a bright, tropical bouquet of roses, peonies, lilies, cosmos and spearmint leaves.
The couple played up their outdoor location with tiny white lights and Moroccan lanterns for a global, bohemian vibe.
Clear glass jars covered colorful centerpieces of roses, artichokes, ranunculus and pomegranates.
