An Art-Deco-Inspired Winter Wedding at the Stone Terrace by John Henry's in Hamilton, New Jersey

The trick to pulling off a February wedding in the Northeast is to accept the possibility that it might snow. Francesca Garzio (27 and a special-education teacher) and Michael Carney (29 and an ironworker), however, actually hoped for it. Despite losing Francesca's father shortly before the wedding, the couple went ahead with their art-deco-infused affair at the Stone Terrace by John Henry's. "It was a very emotional time, but we made the decision to have the wedding as scheduled," she says. "My dad would have wanted us all to have a great time at the wedding that he helped plan." So celebrate they did! Francesca's vintage Claire Pettibone wedding dress inspired the day's Gatsby-esque aesthetic, which they brought to life with a wintery palette of white and silver, plenty of candlelight and glam crystal touches. After the ceremony, the couple and their wedding party donned boots and furs and headed outside for snowy photos with their photographer, Jordan Brian Photography. "I kept saying how much I wanted it to snow on our wedding day, and boy, did we get it," Francesca says. "Three weeks before the wedding, I lost my dad quite suddenly. He knew how much I wanted snow, and I truly felt like he was letting me know he would never miss my big day."
