Amy Loh (30 and a marketing professional) and Kent Chao (32 and a business operations professional) live on both coasts and travel often, so finding the right venue in the couple's native Texas felt like the ideal way to meet in the middle. "We wanted our guests to experience the beautiful sunset in the Hill Country," Amy says. "The clean, modern design of Prospect House was a good canvas for us to add little touches throughout." An abundance of the bride’s favorite color, purple, added a dreamy element to the modern outdoor venue. The couple covered the simple white arch in purple flowers for the ceremony and afterward, topped the tables with purple linens, including fresh lavender at each guest’s place setting. Different designs added an eye-catching touch to each unique layer of the cake and of course, purple flowers also decorated the dessert.
